After graduating from Basair, David’s first aviation job was as an instructor at Camden Airport. He then moved to Western Australia to do Fire Spotting with WA’s Department of Parks and Wildlife. He then joined QANTASLink initially as a First Officer and then Captain Q300 where he also delivered theory training to new recruits. David then went to Emirates Airlines as a Senior First Officer on the Boeing 777 before moving to Japan with Air Nippon Airways flying the Boeing 767. He then returned to Australia as Captain with Leidos on the Dash 8 Q2/300 before joining QANTAS on the Boeing 787.
