My time at Basair was an important step in my journey towards becoming a pilot. The training and experience I gained helped lay the foundation for my career in aviation, and I’m grateful to have been part of the Basair community.

I chose Basair Aviation College because I wanted a more challenging flying experience; one that would make me a better pilot and improve my chances of getting a job. I certainly have no regrets joining Basair as I learned far more than I bargained for – and the school taught me so much knowledge. I guarantee I wouldn’t have got that level of training in a local school here in Malaysia.

“It was personalised training, with a personal feel. The staff were invested in my growth and that really helped me drive on to do what I knew I wanted to do.”

Basair Aviation College focuses on providing the highest quality of theory and flight training with their sights on students receiving the best exam results to assist to assist with their employability.  Quality and world class education is what you receive at Basair.

Basair Aviation College has a great reputation.  I have seen hundreds of students become successful pilots.  The theory and flight training provided by Basair Aviation College set itself apart from other schools.  The training I received prepared me for my career today.  I am very fortunate to have such a great job and as per the famous saying – ‘the sky is my office’!

“I was exposed to the other side of aviation too. Not just flying, but the management side as well. The IFR exposure I received once I pushed through the ranks was next to none, which set me up perfectly for the airlines. It only took me 2 years to get to Grade 1 and get some IFR work. The fast progression and exposure really shaped my career. I became a professional, not just a pilot.”

“The instructor rating I did at Basair really made my career. My colleagues have always seen capabilities in me that I developed as an instructor – specifically the Non Technical skills and have streamlined my progress because of it, because ultimately they want training captains.”

”It’s a mindset, I learnt it at Basair. I sometimes pass a sim check and I just want to get back in there to do the test again because I know I can do better. That’s what #AimHigh looks like.”
