Commercial Pilot Licence
The AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane) is designed for students with no previous aviation experience, who wish to pursue a career as a Commercial Pilot. Graduates will be prepared for the CASA Commercial Pilot Licence flight test, and their first steps as a Commercial Pilot.
The AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane) is a nationally recognised academic qualification. It is a full time, 42 week course with compulsory attendance from Monday to Friday. Basair Aviation College provides comprehensive, high quality theory and flight instruction – integrated and delivered using methods built over our 30 years of experience, ensuring students progress swiftly.
It is a full time course with compulsory attendance from Monday to Friday, and there are no scheduled holidays during the course. Extra attendance may be required, depending on weather.

Instrument Rating
The course is designed to prepare students for their first job in aviation; either as a Charter Pilot or a First Officer in an airline.
Local students enrolled in either course may be eligible for VET FEE HELP funding.
Overseas students enrolled in the course may be eligible for a student visa.
This course lasts for 20 weeks.
At the end of the course, successful students will be awarded a Diploma of Aviation, and will qualify for a CASA ME CIR assessment.

Commercial Pilot Licence – Indian DGCA Commercial Pilot Requirements
The AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation – CPL-DCGA is a course designed to meet the CPL requirements in India. It follows a similar structure to the Diploma of Aviation – AVI50222, with a few adjustments to meet requirements of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
The course is designed for students with no previous aviation experience, who wish to pursue a career as a Commercial Pilot. Graduates will be prepared for the CASA Commercial Pilot Licence flight test, and their first steps as a Commercial Pilot.
