Dan completed his Commercial Pilot Licence and then his Instructor Rating. After working as an instructor and charter pilot around Australia, including Aboriginal Air Services flying a Cessna Caravan, he commenced with Surveillance Australia flying a Dash 8. He joined Virgin Australia and flew the B737, Embraer 170 and 190 and Airbus A330 before going to Emirates Airlines as a First Officer on the A380. He then returned to Australia to fly with Cobham and then National Jet Systems, which is a subsidiary of QANTAS.
