INDIAN ALUMNI
Aniket Banerjee graduated with a Diploma of Aviation and received his first aviation job with Go Air. He has progressed to Vistara – TATA SIA Airlines, where he is flying the Airbus A320/A321 as Senior First Officer with over 3,500 hours of experience.
Viraaj Shah graduated from Basair with a Diploma of Aviation. He is now a Captain on the Embraer 145 family (ERJ 135/Legacy 600/650) with Reliance Commercial Dealers Ltd.
Kush Agarwal graduated with a Certificate IV in Aviation and a Diploma of Aviation and got his first job as a First Officer on a Boeing 777. He progressed Captain and also become a Crew Resource Management (CRM) Instructor in the airline. More recently has been promoted to Deputy Chief Pilot of the Boeing 737 and Boeing 777 fleet.
Kanak graduated with a Certificate IV in Aviation and a Diploma of Aviation, and he received a job offer from IndiGo within a month of converting his licence. He was with IndiGo for 3 years, when at the age of 23 he was promoted to Captain. His career has progressed swiftly and he is now Captain at Etihad as well as the Assistant Chief Pilot.
Karan graduated from Basair with a Diploma of Aviation, before commencing with Qatar Airlines. He then returned to India with a job at Jet Airways before moving to Vistara – TATA SIA Airlines where he is flying the Boeing 737s.
Sagar graduated with a Certificate IV in Aviation and a Diploma of Aviation, and was offered a job with Air Deccan. He then moved to Kingfisher Airlines as a First Officer, progressed to a Senior First Officer at Jet Airways and is now a Captain and Fleet Supervisor with IndiGo.
Vamshi graduated with a Certificate IV in Aviation and a Diploma of Aviation. He was one of the first two seaplane pilots in India, joining Maritime Energy Heli Air Services. He then progressed to Air India where he is a First Officer.
Zuber received his first aviation job with Air Uganda soon after graduating with a Diploma of Aviation. He has since moved to RwandAir where is a Captain on the CRJ 900. He has also held the role of Flight Safety Officer for RwandAir.
Aditya completed his Certificate IV in Aviation at the Bankstown campus, and he commenced working at SpiceJet as a First Officer. He then progressed to Qatar Airways as a First Officer on the B777 where he has had a very successful career, recently becoming a Captain on the 787 Dreamliner.
Vidit’s first job after studying at Basair was with a Britten-Norman Islander. He then started flying a Jetstream 32 for Proflight Zambia, as a First Officer and was then promoted to Captain and then Deputy Chief Pilot. He was also the company’s Flight Safety Officer. Vidit graduated with a Certificate IV in Aviation and a Diploma of Aviation, and now flys for Alliance Airlines out of Brisbane Australia.
