Basair is focused on producing life-long learners, who improve with every flight to master their art. This has long been recognised in the industry, which is seen in our graduate’s employment rates. 94% of our Flight Instructor Rating and 85% of our Instrument Rating graduates obtain employment in the aviation industry within a year of graduation
As one of the few 142 approved training organisations in the country, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority allows Basair to train pilots to a commercial standard in only 150 hrs of flight, as opposed to 200 hrs usually required. Due to the quality of our training, CASA says we can get you to commercial standard 25% faster than other schools
Our world-class curriculum is designed to blend theory and practice; consolidating and reinforcing learnings to produce expert pilots. Our Units of Study are 4 weeks long, providing regular checkpoints to ensure each student progresses quickly, without falling behind
Our fleet is carefully tailored to ensure our students gain experience during training that will result in them being employed after training. We fly the Cessna and Piper aircraft that you will be flying in your first job – giving you the advantage in the job market, and every chance of succeeding once hired.
