Welcome to Basair Aviation College, Australia’s leading flight training organisation
Established in 1991, Basair offers students without any previous aviation experience the benefits of a fully-integrated, world-class curriculum; graduating as fully qualified commercial pilots within a year.
With hundreds of alumni flying for major airlines worldwide, our mission is to provide young, eager minds with the technical and non-technical skills required to become expert pilots and rounded professionals.
Our passion is in producing pilots who are life-long learners; determined on improving with every flight and mastering their art. This approach positions students to continue to grow and flourish beyond graduation; preparing them for long and successful pilot careers.
With 2 campuses to choose from (Sydney and Brisbane) and a new class starting every 4 weeks, Basair also offers unmatched flexibility.

We are proud to partner with TAFE NSW (RTO Code 90003) to deliver the practical flight training component of their nationally recognised aviation qualifications. Through this collaboration, students gain access to high-quality theoretical instruction from TAFE NSW, paired with hands-on flight training delivered by our experienced instructors and industry-standard aircraft fleet.
This integrated approach ensures students receive a comprehensive aviation education that meets CASA requirements and prepares them for real-world flying. Our flight training programs are designed to develop confidence, competence, and professionalism—essential qualities for any aspiring commercial pilot.
