Course Structure
The Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) course is structured into 10 Units of Study, each lasting 4 weeks.
Students begin with the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) phase, which includes daily ground theory, instructor briefings, and an average of four flights per week.
Following RPL, students undertake the Private Pilot Licence (PPL) component, focusing on navigation training. These flights are typically conducted in Piper Archer or Piper Warrior (PA-28) aircraft.
The final phase is the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), which requires advanced theoretical knowledge and greater precision in flying. CPL theory is delivered in 4-week blocks, alternating with Command Flying and Night Flying. The course concludes with four weeks of advanced flying in either the Cessna 206 or Piper Arrow, preparing students for their CPL flight test.

Core Units & Elective Components
Core Units

- It includes the completion of a mock BSafe report, and therefore forms part of the safety training delivered to students by the College.
The following Units of Competency are part of the qualification. However, the College is not resourced for the delivery of these units and therefore students are not permitted to choose from them.
