Year 10, 11 and 12 students can study the AVI30419 Certificate III in Aviation – (Remote Pilot), course as a VET in Schools subject in selected States around Australia. Our students graduate with a comprehensive understanding of the UAV industry, as well as have the opportunity to study for their RePL and AROC licenses.
Our School-based professional training from UAVAIR provides much more than just the minimum qualifications to fly drones. Professional training with UAVAIR is approved by both the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and the Australian Quality Training Framework, as a result, we supply successful graduates with an AVI30419 Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) as well as Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) and Remote Pilot Licence (RePL).

This course is designed for students that have never flown before, as well as students who are already using RPAS technology, and require formal training in correct technique and operation.
There are no specific academic requirements required for the course.

AVIE0003 Operate aeronautical radio
AVIG0003 Work effectively in the aviation industry
AVIY0027 Operate multi-rotor remote pilot aircraft systems
AVIW0008 Conduct aerial search using remote piloted aircraft
